BRCC beat Coahoma 89-71 on Monday night in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center. With a short-handed roster, the Bears managed to produce their highest point total of the season.
BRCC only suited up six players because of injuries, but none of that seemed to matter. Two teams battled back and forth in the first half before the Bears took a five point lead, 37-32, into intermission.
In the second half, the Bears offense scored 52 points to put the game out of reach. Darryl Braggs led the team in scoring with 23 points. Joshua Ivory added 21; Javis McPike 14; Richard Johnson 13; Henry Pryor 12; and Terry Blythe finished off the 89 point effort by adding six points.
The Bears have two more games left this season. Next up is a home matchup vs Delgado on Saturday afternoon.
