Live TV for Final Home Games

Wednesday, February 26th is the final home game for the men's and women's basketball programs. The Bears and Lady Bears are hosting Southern University - Shreveport on the Mid-City Campus of Baton Rouge Community College. The women's game will begin at 6:00 pm and the men's game will follow approximately twenty minutes after the conclusion of the women's game. The doubleheader will be televised by Pelican Broadcasting Network on Cox Channel 113.

The final home game will be celebrated with many activities for fans to enjoy. Coach Lee and Coach Wilson will be recognizing the sophomores before each of their games. The brief programs will give those in attendance an opportunity to bid farewell to the student athletes who have worked so hard during their time representing Baton Rouge Community College.

The BRCC Student Government Association (SGA) is sponsoring the final home doubleheader. SGA will be providing t-shirts to BRCC students in attendance; the SGA is also providing calzones from Rotolo's to those who attend the games versus Southern-Shreveport.

Those in attendance will notice new members of the athletic department. "We will be unveiling the new BRCC Spirit Squad during the games", says Athletic Director Neil Hayhurst. "We are very excited to add a spirit squad to the athletic department. The new addition will provide a boost of energy at homes games."

The Miss-Lou Conference matchup is the final Canes Challenge from Raising Cane's. The first 500 people in attendance will be given Cane's Challenge coupons, good for a Buy One Get One Free combo if either team scores 60 or more points.
