The Lady Bears fall to the Lady Cavaliers, here Wednesday night, on the second day of the Bossier Parish Community College Classic. Final Score was BPCC 82 and BRCC 63. The Lady Bears, in the first quarter, went toe to toe with the Lady Cavs. Lady Cavs player Monette Bolden hit a three pointer at the buzzer to give the Lady Cavs a first quarter led of 24 to 21 over the Lady Bears. That three pointer seemed to spark the Lady Cavs as they outscored the Lady Bears by 5 points in the second quarter to take a 41 to 33 led at the half. The third quarter was evenly matched between the two teams, with BPCC scoring 18 points, in the quarter, compared to BRCC's 17 points. The fourth quarter is were BPCC Lady Cavs broke the game open. The Lady Cavs outscored the Lady Bears 23 to 13 in the fourth quarter. BPCC Lady Cavs shot 44 % from the field and 50 % from the 3 point line (15-30). BRCC Lady Bears shot 37 % from the field, while only, making 2 of 12 from the 3 point line.

Celica Sterling led the Lady Bears in scoring with 27 points,in which, 11 points came in the first quarter. Celica also had 8 rebounds and 1 assist
Kayla Watson scored 12 points with 7 rebounds, 2 assist and 2 steals
Tremeeka Spikes added 9 points and 2 rebounds
Aliyah Cooper scored 7 points with 7 rebounds,2 assist and 1 steal.
Lady Bears will be back in action this Saturday January 6, 2018, at home ,in the Bonne Sante Wellness Center. They will face the SW Mississippi Community College Lady Bears at 2 pm. Admission is $5.00.
