High School: Charles Woodard Boyles attended St. Michael the Archangel, where he played baseball under Tookie Johnson. He was named to the first team All-District three times.
Personal: His hometown is Baton Rouge, LA. He is the son of Sarah and Matt Boyles and has three brothers: Jack, Sam, and Bradley. His father, Matt, played baseball at McNeese, and his uncles are Woody Boyles, a ULM Hall of Fame coach, and Jim Boyles, who played football at LSU and ULM. At BRCC, he is majoring in construction management and hopes to own his own construction company one day. His favorite athlete is Mookie Betts, and his favorite professional team is the Boston Red Sox. His favorite food is fish, and his favorite snack is beef sticks. He enjoys watching the movie "Batman" and the TV show "Penguin." His dream vacation destination is the Bahamas. The person he admires most is his dad because he encourages him to become the best and the hardest-working person he can be.
