Bears Basketball Announce 2025 Preseason Schedule

Bears Basketball Head Coach Byron Starks has announced the Bears' 2025-26 preseason schedule. The team will travel to Fort Worth, Texas, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, to participate in the Mullen/Mitchell JUCO Jamboree. The games will take place at the Game On Sports Complex, located at 2600 Alameda Street, Fort Worth, TX 76108.
The Bears will kick off the day with a game against Seminole State College at 1:30 PM (Court 4). This will be followed by a matchup with Northern Oklahoma College–Tonkawa at 3:30 PM (Court 1), and the Bears will conclude the day with a game against Eastern Oklahoma at 4:30 PM (Court 3).
On Saturday, October 18 2025, the Bears will head to Jackson, Mississippi, to take part in the Mississippi JUCO Jamboree. They will play three games that day against TSF, Calhoun Community College and CCCTV Blue. These games will be held at the Mississippi Basketball & Athletic Facility, located at 2240 Westbrook Rd, Jackson, MS 39157. Game times are 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Coach Byron Starks begins his third season at the helm of the Bears Basketball program. Last season, the Bears finished with an impressive record of 20-9 overall and 6-0 in conference play, highlighted by a 14-game winning streak, during which they won all nine of their games in February. This year, only three players—Cardez Norman, Chad Jones, and Dylan Dominique—from the 2024-25 roster return. The coaching staff aims to rebuild the team to maintain the success of last season and keep the winning streak alive. With new talent, fresh energy, and strong motivation, BRCC looks poised to defend its conference title and continue building momentum into the new season.
The Bears will open the 2025-2026 season on the road at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida, participating in the Northwest Florida Classic on October 31 and November 1. They will face East Mississippi on the first day of the tournament and take on the host school on the second day, concluding their season-opening road trip. The Bears will return to the Bears Den to host Florida Coastal Prep on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11 AM, providing fans with their first opportunity to see the 2025-26 squad at home in the Bonne Santé Wellness Center.
