2025 Lady Bears Softball Fall Schedule
Upadate: The Battle of the Bears between BRCC and SMCC has been postponed due to weather. The game will now be played on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at 2 and 4 pm at Hartley Vey Oak Villa SPorts Complex. The Lady Bears have also added a game on Thursday October 23 against Southern University A&M College at Lady Jags Softball field in Baton Rouge.
Edit: Lady Bears Softball has added a fall game at home against Coastal Alabama North on Tuesday October 21, 2025 at 1:00 and 3:00 pm at Hartley Vey Oak Villa Sports Complex.

Abby Bolton has returned to Baton Rouge Community College to begin her second tenure as Head Coach of the Lady Bears Softball Team. Coach Bolton aims to build on the success of the 2025 season, during which the Lady Bears set a new program record with 25 wins and finished third in the South Central District Championship in Piedmont, Oklahoma. She is excited to bring her coaching style back to Baton Rouge and continue the program's growth. To develop the skills of her young team, Coach Bolton will utilize a challenging fall schedule.
The 2025-2026 Lady Bears squad returns five sophomores from last season's record-breaking team. The Lady Bears will play one game against Region 23 DII JUCO in a home-and-home series at Southwest Mississippi Community College on September 3 and September 24. The Lady Bears will face the LCA Wildcats at home on October 4. Additionally, the Lady Bears will face three Division I softball programs: Louisiana Tech on October 12, Nicholls State on October 15, and Northwestern State on October 26.
