Emily Camacho

Bio

2026 Season: Emily Maria Camacho played in 23 games for the Lady Bears last season, starting in 10 of them as both an outfielder and a pitcher. She recorded six hits in 29 at-bats, scoring three runs, hitting one triple, driving in five RBIs, and drawing one walk, resulting in a batting average of .207. On the mound, Emily made 12 appearances, finishing with a 1-1 record, one save, and an earned run average (ERA) of 4.59. Over 21.1 innings pitched, she allowed 25 runs on 25 hits while striking out nine batters.

High School: Emily attended Smackover High School, where she played softball under Head Coaches Bryan Strickland and Bo Smith. During her high school career, she was part of four district championship teams, three conference championship teams, three regional runner-up teams, and the 2023 Conference runner-up team. In addition to softball, she also played volleyball for the Buckaroos. Emily was named the 2025 Female Athlete of the Year and earned First Team All-Conference and First Team All-District honors for four consecutive years. She also received First Team All-State honors for two years. In 2025, she was selected to be part of the Americas Team with ACID in Australia.

Personal:Emily is from Smackover, Arkansas. She is the daughter of Rick Camacho and Bonnie Haile and has one younger brother, Jackson Camacho, and one younger sister, Audrey Camacho. While attending BRCC, she is majoring in Liberal Arts and aspires to become an early development psychologist. Her favorite athletes are Skylar Wallace and Danieca Coffey, and her favorite professional team is the Volts. Emily enjoys pasta as her favorite food and Cheez-Its as her favorite snack. Her favorite movie is “The Hunger Games,” and she admires her roommates Savanah and Kassidy.
