Bio

2026 Season:Kailey Jade Dwyer appeared in 19 games for the Lady Bears, starting 11 of them as a pitcher. She recorded a season win-loss record of 4-8 with an ERA of 6.07 over 83 innings. During the season, she allowed 105 runs on 124 hits while striking out 22 batters.

2025 Season: Kailey redshirted at Louisiana State University Alexandria.

High School: Dwyer attended Acadiana High School, where she played softball under Head Coach Kevin Smith. She earned recognition as a First Team All-District player twice, a Second Team All-District player twice, and was selected for the All-Metro team twice, as well as the Second Team All-State twice. Additionally, she was named to the Second Team All-Acadiana.

Personal: Kailey is from Lafayette, Louisiana, and is the daughter of Jacob Dwyer and Ashley Landry. She has one brother, Jaden. While attending BRCC, she is majoring in Education and aspires to become a softball coach. Her favorite athlete is Jennie Finch, and her favorite professional team is the Texas Volts. Kailey enjoys ribeye steak and strawberries as her favorite food and snack. Her favorite TV show is "Gilmore Girls," and her favorite movie is "The Notebook." One day, she hopes to visit Hawaii. She admires her dad the most, who has taught her the importance of hard work both on and off the field, as well as how to be a great teammate.
