Madelyn Nolen

Bio

2026 Season Madelyn Eleyce Nolen appeared in 21 games for the Lady Bears, starting 15 of them on the mound. She finished the season with a record of 3 wins and 9 losses, posting a 7.18 ERA. Over 76 innings pitched, she allowed 101 runs on 154 hits while striking out 18 batters.

High School Madelyn attended Starks High School, where she played softball under Head Coach Wendy Gillet. In addition to softball, she also participated in basketball and ran track for the Panthers. Madelyn was named District MVP during her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons. Her Panthers team was the undefeated district champion from her sophomore to senior years. As a senior, she earned recognition on the Academic All-State team. Throughout her high school career, she achieved a spot on the First Team All-District, LSWA First Team All-State, LSWA First Team All-Southwest, and the Louisiana Softball Coaches Association First Team All-State teams all four years.

Personal: Madelyn is from Starks, Louisiana, and is the daughter of Bryan and Hollie Poole. She has one sister, Averie Nolen, and three brothers: Presley Poole, Maddox Nolen, and Oliver Nolen. While at BRCC, she is majoring in Business with the aspiration of becoming a Director of Sales and Marketing. Her favorite athlete is Sam Landry, and her favorite professional team is the Texas Volts. Madelyn enjoys crawfish as her favorite food and goldfish as her favorite snack. She loves watching “Love Island” and considers “The Notebook” her favorite movie. One of her dreams is to visit the Bahamas, and the person she admires most is her mom for the sacrifices she has made for her.
