2024-2025: Redshirted at Holmes Community College.

High School: Amir Adbul- Rauf attended Gulfport High School, where he played basketball under Head Coaches Steven Hesser, David Austin, Owen Miller, and Teddy Jenkins. He was selected to participate in the 2024 Mississippi/Alabama All-Star Game and was named to the 2024 Mississippi All-State Team. Additionally, he earned the title of District Player of the Year in 2024 and received recognition at the Joshua Hubbard Classic. Over the course of two years, he scored more than one thousand points. He also reached the Final Four while playing for Jonesboro High School during his sophomore season in 2022.

Personal: Amir is from Clayton County, Georgia. He is the son of Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and April Dotson, and he has one sister, Safiyyah, and three brothers, Ali, Alim, and Ammar. His father played basketball at LSU before moving on to play in the NBA, and his cousin, Anthony Mason, also had an NBA career. While at BRCC, Amir is majoring in Computer Science and aspires to become a professional basketball player. His favorite athletes are his dad, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf, and Derrick Rose. His favorite professional teams include the Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons. Amir enjoys sushi and wings, with "Scarface" being his favorite movie. He hopes to visit Bora Bora someday and admires his father for teaching him that there is beauty in struggle.
