Bio

2024-2025: Kentrell played basketball at Compton College, participating in 29 games and starting 22 of them for the Coyotes. Throughout the season, he scored a total of 273 points, recorded 213 rebounds, dished out 13 assists, made 29 steals, and tallied 28 blocked shots. His team won the 2025 Conference Championship, and he was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

High School: Kentrell Freeman attended Warren Easton High School, where he played basketball under Head Coach Darrius Mims. He earned a spot on the Honorable Mention Team in 2023 and received the NOCC Certificate in 2024.

Personal: Trell is from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is the son of Carl Heim and Terri Freeman. While at BRCC, he is majoring in Business Administration and aspires to play in the NBA and start his own clothing business. His favorite athlete is Kevin Durant, and his favorite team is the Golden State Warriors. Trell enjoys chicken as his favorite food, and his go-to snack is Sweet Chili Doritos. His favorite TV show is SpongeBob, and he hopes to visit Dubai one day. He admires his grandfather, who has been a great role model for all the men in his family.
